Wilbert Sybesma, PhD MBA, has been active for over 20 years in Nutrition, Health and Innovation. Wilbert’s main expertise relates to research and development of probiotics, prebiotics and other microbiome modulating ingredients, including bacteriophages. In October 2021 Wilbert founded Microbiome Solutions GmbH in Switzerland, a consultancy firm serving smaller and larger organizations in end-to-end innovation and value creation in the human microbiome area. Wilbert is also co-founder of Yoba for Life Foundation (increasing health and wealth in Africa), Crispatus Foundation (women’s health) and teaches Food Biotechnology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
